MEXC Lists XYZ/USDT Trading Pair on January 29 as Early 2026 Token Debuts Gather Pace

MEXC announced it will list the XYZ token on January 29 at 1 PM UTC, trading against USDT. The listing follows the project’s TGE, which brings 0.5% of the total token supply into initial circulation, keeping early market supply relatively tight and helping avoid abrupt increases that could disrupt early trading.

Alongside the listing, MEXC has published additional launch incentives, with 50,000 USDT allocated to user rewards.

This places XYZ among the first wave of new crypto listings in 2026. January listings often carry symbolic weight, offering early signals of broader market sentiment for the year ahead. The month has historically been positive for crypto prices and engagement, as investors reallocate capital and attention after year-end. As a result, early listings like XYZ tend to be watched closely as indicators of fresh market interest.

How XYZVerse Built Demand Before TGE

XYZ’s journey toward a listing on MEXC has been fueled by a period of strong presale performance and growing visibility among crypto enthusiasts. XYZVerse’s presale raised $16 million across 19 stages. The token’s price increased from $0.0001 in the earliest rounds to $0.007 by the final stage, with the TGE price set at $0.10.

Demand was supported by more than fundraising alone. In parallel with the presale, XYZVerse began rolling out live components of its ecosystem, including a crypto-powered Counter-Strike 2 League and fan participation mechanics tied to the XYZ token. Features such as Access Passes, on-chain voting, predictions, and community selection for league participation gave early supporters a reason to engage beyond holding the token.

The project also maintained a consistent presence across X, Telegram, and its broader community channels, pairing regular updates with ambassador-led outreach and meme-driven content that matched its sports and esports positioning. Together, these efforts helped XYZVerse build an active following and remain visible throughout the presale period, placing the token on the radar of investors tracking participation-driven projects ahead of public trading.

On January 12, just days ahead of the expected MEXC listing, the team announced that $XYZ had migrated to BNB Smart Chain. The move was positioned as a practical step to improve transaction speed, reduce fees, and support higher on-chain activity as the platform scales beyond the presale phase.

Beyond the TGE: How the Remaining XYZ Supply Is Structured

Beyond the initial allocation entering circulation at TGE, the majority of XYZ tokens are reserved for supporting the platform over the long term. Out of the fixed 100 billion supply, allocations are spread across liquidity provisioning, ecosystem and product development, marketing, community incentives, and team participation, ensuring the token can function as the backbone of an active platform rather than a short-term trading vehicle.

Specifically, 15% of the supply is allocated to liquidity to support healthy market conditions after launch, while another 15% is reserved for marketing and partnerships aimed at expanding the platform’s reach. A further 10% is set aside for development and ecosystem growth, funding ongoing product work, infrastructure, and feature rollouts. Community incentives and airdrops account for an additional 10%, designed to reward participation and keep users engaged as the ecosystem grows.

Alongside these allocations, more than 17% of the total supply is earmarked for long-term token burns. Combined with buybacks funded by platform and partner-generated revenue, this structure is intended to gradually reduce circulating supply over time, linking XYZ’s long-term dynamics to actual platform activity rather than one-off market events.

From Memecoin Origins to a Multi-Title Esports Platform

XYZVerse began as an all-sports memecoin concept, but has since developed into a broader product-focused platform. Rather than centering everything around the token itself, the project is now building a multi-title esports ecosystem where players compete, fans take part, and brands engage through measurable on-chain activity.

Competitive gaming acts as the starting point, not the end goal. XYZVerse is designed around participation as a core feature, with leagues, predictions, collectibles, and fan-driven mechanics that can extend across different games, sports, and competitive formats over time. Within that setup, the XYZ token functions as the access and activity layer, connecting user engagement on the platform to on-chain interaction rather than standing alone as a speculative asset.
