Ripple Partners With RedotPay to Enable Instant Crypto to Naira Transfers for Verified Users

2025-12-03

  • Ripple and RedotPay launch a feature to convert crypto to Naira for verified users quickly.
  • The new system supports XRP, USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH, SOL, TON, TRX and BNB for instant transfers.
  • RedotPay integration strengthens Ripple’s presence in Africa and improves cross-border payment access.

Crypto firm Ripple has partnered with fintech company RedotPay to expand its payment services in Africa. RedotPay integrated Ripple’s cross-border payment system to launch a new feature, “Send Crypto, Receive NGN.” With the help of this tool, verified users with local bank accounts can easily convert cryptocurrency into Nigerian Naira (NGN).

Numerous cryptocurrencies, including XRP, USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH, SOL, TON, TRX, and BNB, are supported by the integration. RedotPay also plans to include RLUSD stablecoin in the future. The feature enables instant transfers, allowing users to send crypto and receive NGN within minutes.

Expanding Digital Remittance Solutions

RedotPay’s new feature addresses common challenges in global remittances. The key pain points for users are high fees, delayed transfers, and currency conversion issues . By integrating Ripple Payments, the company hopes to offer quicker, safer, and simpler access to digital finance solutions.

This change is consistent with the continuous trend in cross-border payments toward digital alternatives.  Ripple stated that RedotPay can now reach more users and provide an easy way for sending money internationally. The integration also strengthens Ripple’s footprint in the African digital payments market.

Multi-Market Crypto Support

The “Send Crypto, Receive NGN” feature supports a wide range of crypto assets. XRP, USDC, USDT, BTC, ETH, SOL, TON, TRX, and BNB are available for transfers. Users can directly send these assets and receive their value in NGN at local banks.

Ripple further stated that future updates will include RLUSD stablecoin support.  By allowing users to use stablecoins for international payments, this lowers the risk of volatility. The system streamlines currency conversion, making crypto as easy to use as local money.

Strengthening Ripple’s African Expansion

This collaboration expands upon Ripple’s current African initiatives.  Ripple worked with fintech companies Yellow Card, VALR, and Chipper Cash earlier this year. These collaborations integrated RLUSD stablecoin into multiple African payment platforms.

The expansion follows Ripple’s recent licensing update in Singapore. The company continues to prioritize international remittance solutions and cross-border payments.  Ripple aims to provide faster, cheaper, and more protected transfers for users across multiple markets.
