Cardano (ADA) is currently trading at $0.6982, marking a 4.34% fall on the day, and its 24-hour trade volume has dropped 26.01% to $1.03 billion. ADA has lost 15.67% over the last seven days and has been exhibiting a downward trend across the altcoin market. Though there were some small reversal attempts this year, the cryptocurrency has yet to breach substantial resistance at around the $0.90 level.
Analyst note that ADA’s inability to break the $1 mark has cooled excitement on the buy side. The cryptocurrency remains far lower than its all-time high of $3.10, achieved during the 2021 bull run. The majority of retail traders, previously heralding high predictions of prices, are now being cautioned to scale back as Cardano cannot hold even small levels of support.
Crypto analyst Duo Nine (YCC) presented a grim look at ADA’s current technical state. In one recent comment, he criticized extremely high price targets from members of the community as follows:
“Cardano fans were sharing targets like $10 the other week. Time for a reality check.” He made clear that until the $0.90 resistance has solidified as support, expectations of breaking the $1 threshold are speculative at this time
He further stated that the $0.64 level now provides good support, yet mentioned the price structure as weak going short term. This outlook indicates an increasing rift between retail sentiment and analytical caution, with technical indications suggesting prudence.

The 2025 price predictions vary significantly, indicating uncertainty regarding ADA’s future trajectory. DigitalCoinPrice has been very positive and predicts the price will rise to $1.54 at the year-end, potentially breaking the all-time high of $3.10. The prediction depends on the upside momentum being supported by favourable investor sentiment and macroeconomic developments.
Changelly’s technical prediction is significantly less aggressive. The platform projects ADA may trade somewhere between $0.609 and $0.761 in 2025, at an average of $0.913. For August 2025, they predict the high at $0.913, with the low at $0.709, presenting an expected ROI of 27.7%.
