The new upgrade combines aggressive routing algorithms, predictive trade simulation, and protection against on-chain manipulation. Built for speed, accuracy, and fairness, Ultra V3 provides professional-grade execution to the DeFi trader at the mass level.

The Ultra V3 release adds a new Iris-based meta aggregation, ShadowLane transaction engine, and predictive execution architecture. Combined, they offer unparalleled performance in trade fills, price accuracy, and transacted privacy.

Based on the internal data of Jupiter, the new system holds 34 times better protection against sandwich assaults and provides 0.6 basis points of good slippage, while up to 14 basis points of bad slippage are experienced on competitive sites.

Jupiter Unveils Iris Router in Ultra V3

The centerpiece of Ultra V3 is the Iris router, a future-proof system that connects JupiterZ, DFlow, Hashflow, and OKX for maximum trade aggregation.

Iris succeeds the older Metis router and uses mathematical models such as Golden-section and Brent’s method to improve route splitting. These optimizations made the performance close to 100 times better, so traders at all times receive the most efficient path for their swaps.

Another feature earmarking is Predictive Execution, where routes are routed by actual execution potential, not static quotes. Where other exchanges show bloated “best prices,” Ultra V3 models live on-chain action to predict slippage in real time.

The mechanism employs sophisticated models such as RTSE (Real-Time Slippage Estimator), refined over two years, so that every trade settles at the price point foreseen.

Ultra V3 Adds ShadowLane For Faster Private Transactions

Ultra V3 also launches ShadowLane, the in-house transaction landing engine of Jupiter that facilitates nearly instantaneous private execution without the use of external relays. The latency is minimized to as few as 50 milliseconds while ensuring full data confidentiality.

For commodity traders, gasless transactions remove the necessity of holding SOL to pay fees, making it easier for casual users with as little as $10 worth of tokens.

The upgrade facilitates just-in-time market resurgence, bringing back deceased Solana markets for new liquidity and allowing users to close old or abandoned positions.

Ultra signaling, a novel on-chain alerting mechanism, enables liquidity providers to quote 50% tighter spreads for non-toxic users that are verified, making better trade prices throughout the platform.
